Rubbing the belly will make some fat loss?

Is this some kind of myth that if you somewhat massage your stomach it loses some weight or calories of some kind?

I wish. If you lose any calories it won’t be many. Your better off exercising and dieting.

No, rubbing your belly will not cause you to lose fat. You might burn a couple extra calories moving your hand around on your belly, but not enough to put a dent in that gut.

The only proven way to lose belly fat is to combine a healthy diet, portion control and exercise.

Its a myth. The act of rubbing your belly would not burn enough additional calories to make a difference and the physical act would be all that would be in play here. The old massage belt machines of the 70’s were proven to be nonsense..but man did those people look funny while doing it..

I wouldn’t risk doing that instead of crunches.. i mean, make yourself FEEL THE BURN. If your abs aren’t exactly feeling any burn or if they don’t feel all tingly, then you’re probably getting nowhere.
That’s what i think though. i do 300 ab crunches a day, and have never once regretted it =)

No, the only way to burn fat is to lower your calorie intake and burn calories by exercising. Rubbing the belly will do nothing but “jiggle” your fat, lol.

Hi,

Yes you will lower your blood sugar levels as well. Just as much as taking a walk for about 5 minutes, by rubbing your belly, back, arms, and legs for 25 minutes, you will burn the same number of calories as walking 5 minutes.

So keep it up for a long time, you will lose weight, if your intake calories are lower than your daily usage.

You might also want to eat some meals with no animal fat, make this 1-2 meals a day with no meat for about 3 weeks. And limit meats to only 4 ounces per meal, this will lower your cholesterol too.

Avoid cheese, most milk products, and eggs. Eggs have a lot of cholesterol in them.

I was reading a book called Dr. Barnard’s Program for Reversing Diabetes. It offers many great vegetarian diet plans that taste good too.

Another is Dr. Young’s book The PH Miracle for Weight Loss.

well maybe
rubbing thighs is helping tooo
but instead drnk some juices or food not fat food n walk , run for 30 min everyday

No, but I heard once that banging your head on the wall is supposed to do something :] But, like everyone else has said, work out if you want to lose weight. It’ll be worth it.
