Xanax usually only causes weight gain when people eat freely after taking it.  It doesn&#039;t seem like it affects you like that.

I would not be so quick to blame the drugs, but if you have successfully dieted before but are now failing, it could very well be the Cymbalta.  Speak to your doctor if it is an issue.  Wellbutrin was not as effective in treating my depression (though I was stable on it), but I did lose weight.  It could be something to consider.</description>

		<description>Yes. Anti-depressants have a way of messing with your metabolism. And benzos do that as well as tend to make you eat more without realizing it.
Give it some more time for your body to adjust to the medications and you will get back on track. Your body just has to get used to the mechanisms of the meds.</description>
